Who is this course for?
If you are an adult with learning difficulties and disabilities or you are being supported on a day-to-day basis but hope to be more independent in your daily life, then this course is for you.
Enjoy exploring new and different art ideas. Complete beginners or those with experience are both welcome.
You will be looking at the work of named artists and trying out their styles. We will look at the pictures of LS Lowry, the abstracts of Gillian Ayes and the textile designs of Mary White. You will have plenty of opportunity to develop your own ideas.
Support and feedback
During the course you will be carefully guided to produce your art and will be supported throughout. Your tutor will work with you to check your progress and agree what you need to do to achieve the results that you want.
Additional costs and requirements
There are no entry requirements and you do not need to bring anything except an apron to protect your clothes.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You do not need to do anything in your own time but you may enjoy practising some of the techniques that you learn
