About the tutor

Caroline Ross currently works as a tutor for Learn Devon. Prior to this she worked for Integer training as a tutor and before that, as nationwide trainer and major accounts supervisor for Manpower plc.

Caroline has a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) and a City & Guilds Level 4 Certificate of Adult Literacy Subject Specialist qualification. Caroline’s area of interest is teaching adults with learning difficulties

Caroline has been heavily involved in her children’s school, being the Secretary then Chairperson for the PTA for 8 years. She helps out at the local Youth Club and is hoping to be involved in more youth projects in the future.

“I love teaching and giving people the opportunity to do things for themselves instead of someone doing it for them. As a child I experienced things being snatched from my hands because I looked awkward (just being left-handed!) and made a promise that I would never do that to anyone else”.
