Who is this course for?
If you like creating, working with your hands and using your imagination then you will enjoy being part of this course.
You will make new friends and have fun in this safe environment.
This course is suitable for anyone who is being supported on a day-to-day basis, but who is hoping to be more independent in their daily life.
During Nature Matters, you will take part in fun, creative activities and will make items to take home at the end of the course.
You will create images and items based on natural shapes and objects.
There will be an opportunity for an educational visit to Grow@Jigsaw in Bideford to do some planting – date to be confirmed.
Support and feedback
The Tutor or Learning Support Assistant will talk to you at each session and discuss your progress and enjoyment with you. You or a scribe will note your feedback on an individual learning plan
Additional costs and requirements
You won’t have to bring anything with you but if would like to bring things you find when out and about to support the project you are working on you can.
There are no specific entry requirements except a willingness to ‘have a go’.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
No, but it would be great to hear that you are enjoying trying the activities at home
