You will build-up a folder of work with the help of centre staff and your support worker if you have one.

Additional costs and requirements

You don’t need to bring anything to the course as paper and pens are supplied. You may wish to bring some money with you to buy a drink at break from the cafe

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?

No, but you are welcome to do your own research in your own time and share your findings with the rest of the group if you wish.

About the tutor

I have been working at the Passmore Edwards Centre for over 11 years and have worked with many different groups of learners. I am not a local (only lived here for 33 years) but I am always interested in finding out more about the History of Newton Abbot and future plans – are you?
