Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone who has an interest in stained glass and would like to learn the method behind how it is made.

This course is aimed at any level, from beginner onwards.

Course content

You will be learning new skills, principles and techniques that are needed to work with stained glass to produce your individual stained-glass Bird using the copper foil method.

You will be able to explore your own ideas and follow set practical tasks.

Support and feedback

Your tutor will support you throughout the session.

You will work with your tutor on your personal goals within the structure of the course.

You will receive feedback on your progress and suggestions as to how to improve.

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?

You will need to provide your own overall/apron to protect your clothing.

All other materials will be provided.

How will I learn?

You will be taught in a small, friendly and supportive group, where you will have the opportunity to gain confidence and meet new people.

You will be hands on working with your tutor’s support and guidance.

You will be working with associated tools and chemicals and given appropriate Health and Safety guidelines to follow while completing practical tasks.
