Who is this course for?
This is a beginner’s course for anyone interested in exploring colour theory and its effect within art and interiors.
The course will look at how to mix colours using a limited palette. You will create a colour wheel using primary colours, mixing secondary and tertiary colours. You will gain an understanding of harmonious and complementary colour to emphasise your work and create atmosphere. It is intended that the course will provide you with the opportunity to interact with other learners in a relax and enjoyable session.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will support you throughout the course via the online session. You will work with your tutor on your personal goals within the structure of the course. You will receive feedback on your progress and suggestions as to how to improve.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You will need a laptop / PC / phone / tablet with a camera and microphone / headphones and a good internet connection.
You will need to provide your own materials.

How will I learn?
You will be working with your tutor and other learners using an online video platform called Zoom. Your course will include practical tasks and discussions and your tutor will support you throughout. You may wish to continue work after the session. This will help you to get the best from the course and to progress at a pace you are comfortable with.
