More watercolours using texture and special effects
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who has an interest in learning and extending their watercolour painting skills This course is aimed at students who have prior experience, rather than the novice.
You will be exploring ways of looking and seeing. You will be trying a variety of activities. These include using a range of techniques for painting and drawing. Each week there will be a different focus, technique or activity: experimental techniques, colour theory, perspective and composition, landscape painting, still life. You will be able to explore your own ideas and follow set practical tasks.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will support you throughout the course via the online sessions. You will work with your tutor on your personal goals within the structure of the course. You will receive feedback on your progress and suggestions as to how to improve.

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You will need a laptop / PC / phone / tablet with a camera and microphone / headphones and a good internet connection.

“How will I learn?
You will be working with your tutor and other learners using an online video platform called Zoom. Your course will include practical tasks and discussions and your tutor will support you throughout. You may wish to continue work between the sessions. This will help you to get the best from the course and to progress at a pace you are comfortable with.
