Glass slumping and fusing: christmas decorations
Who is this course for?
This is suitable for anyone.
You will learn how to make Christmas decorations using coloured glass as an introduction to the technique of glass slumping and fusing.
In the first session we will be looking at slumped glass and be creating formers out of clay. These will be fired as moulds. You will then learn how to arrange different glass in and on the formers. These will be put back in the kiln to fuse the glass and melt it to the shape of the formers.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will support you throughout the course. You will work with your tutor on your personal goals within the structure of the course. You will receive feedback on your progress and suggestions as to how to improve.

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You might want to bring your own apron. All tools are provided. For hygiene purposes, you will be issued with your own individual set for your personal use for the length of the course. Price includes materials.
