About the tutor
Your tutor will be Harry Roberts. Harry started working for Learn Devon in 2012 and teaches various courses in arts and crafts such as drawing, painting, printmaking, feltmaking, ceramics and stained glass. Harry teaches to students of all levels at different venues in North and West Devon. Before joining Learn Devon he worked as a full time Art & Design Tutor at North Devon College (now known as Petroc). When he is not working, he will either be found in his studio, making large paintings/sculptures or tinkering with his collection of cars and racing bikes (essentially anything that goes fast). Harry is also a qualified fitness coach and attends a local gym three times a week. He enjoys cycling, camping, spending time with friends, travelling (especially in India, Thailand) and cooking. Harry enjoys teaching and showing students new skills and possibilities through art and making new things. He believes creativity is life affirming and fun for everyone. He frequently changes his hair colour from blonde and pink to lilac, so he definitely doesn’t go unnoticed around our centre.
