Who is this course for?
For anyone interested in making their own decorative crafts and experimenting with materials.
You will use a variety of different materials including fabric, paper and natural objects to transform into a wreath for Easter. You will be shown how to make a simple wreath out of paper, wire or willow. You can then add your own decorations to make an individual decoration for Easter.

Your tutor will give you continual feedback and guidance to help you make your wreath
Additional costs and requirements
All materials and Easter themed decorative objects will be provided but please bring any that you may have/wish to use, or natural materials, including pliable twigs from your garden and scraps of fabric.
You may be eligible for a learner bursary if you can demonstrate that attending a course will improve your wellbeing. Eligibility is determined after a short interview with a member of our learning support team. You must be aged over 19 on 31 August 2019 and your household income below £16,009.50 to access this fund. Contact your local centre for more details.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
No, but you may wish to continue with the skills you have learnt.
About the tutor
Nicky Montagu is an Art, Craft and Design tutor for Learn Devon. She has taught many different courses in London as an Art and Design Lecturer.
Nicky is interested in many different areas of art, craft and design including textiles, printing, sewing, manipulating fabrics, pattern and form in ceramics, interior design and printmaking.
Nicky aims to devise courses that are suitable for all levels from complete beginners to learners with more experience and where possible learners can continue their work at home with minimum need for specialist materials.
