Drawing into printmaking
Who is this course for?
Do you like to draw and have an interest in printmaking? Then come along to this course and combine the two.
You will learn a variety of simple drawing techniques to transform into print making. You will then be shown different printmaking techniques; this may include lino cuts, mono prints and hand cut stencils. You can print onto different types of paper and experiment with colour to make an exciting set of prints
Support and feedback
The tutor will give you support and feedback to ensure you make the most of the time on the course.

Please bring your sketchbook and any drawings you may have.
You may be eligible for a learner bursary if you can demonstrate that attending a course will improve your wellbeing. Eligibility is determined after a short interview with a member of our learning support team. You must be aged over 19 on 31 August 2019 and your household income below £16,009.50 to access this fund. Contact your local centre for more details.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
No, but you may wish to continue with the skills you have learnt
About the tutor
Nicky Montagu is an Art, Craft and Design tutor for Learn Devon. She has taught many different courses in London as an Art and Design Lecturer.
Nicky is interested in many different areas of art, craft and design including textiles, printing, sewing, manipulating fabrics, pattern and form in ceramics, interior design and printmaking.
Nicky aims to devise courses that are suitable for all levels from complete beginners to learners with more experience and where possible learners can continue their work at home with minimum need for specialist materials.
