Stained glass: jewellery box/mirror frame
Who is this course for?
You will be working in a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere with a group of likeminded people.
You will be learning a range of new skills and making something that you are pleased with.
You will be making a stained-glass box or mirror frame This will involve: glass cutting and grinding, copper foiling, soldering and patination. This will be to your own design, that you will be given assistance with from your tutor.
Support and feedback
The tutor will always be there for help and support.
Additional costs and requirements
All materials and equipment will be supplied.
There are no entry requirements.
You may be eligible for a learner bursary if you can demonstrate that attending a course will improve your wellbeing. Eligibility is determined after a short interview with a member of our learning support team. You must be aged over 19 on 31st August 2019 and your household income below £16,009.50 to access this fund. Contact your local centre for more details.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
About the tutor
Harry Roberts currently works on Art and Design courses and a range of Art/music based ALDD courses for Learn Devon.
Harry has a PGCE from the University of Reading and a BA Hons (Ist class) from the Polytechnic Wolverhampton and Ecole des Beaux Arts de Lyon.
When he was a student his tutor was Anish Kapoor.
