Continuous line drawing and wire heads
Who is this course for?
This is a course for the novice or those with experience. It will have both 2D and 3D outcomes and will involve two techniques that are new to you. Taught in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Drawing skills not necessary. Come and make something and have some fun.
This course is based on the ‘face’ and you will be making a series of drawings using a continuous line technique. The drawings will range from a 3-minute study to a 15 second drawing, including drawing where you can’t see your paper and drawing where you can’t see the subject. This will form the basis for a 3D head construction made from wire, which is also a continuous line technique.
You may be eligible for a learner bursary if you can demonstrate that attending a course will improve your wellbeing. Eligibility is determined after a short interview with a member of our learning support team. You must be aged over 19 on 31st August 2019 to access this fund. Contact your local centre for more details.

‘I love showing people new things and materials and helping them develop their skills. I believe everyone has a creative ability. We all drew before we could speak but sometimes this creative ability gets lost or buried. I like people to find what they never really knew they had.’
