Needle felt picture workshop
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for everyone. No previous experience is necessary and you don’t need to be artistic either! Come along and create a fabulous felt picture using wool roving and a felting needle.
During this workshop you will create a small picture using wool roving in lots of colours. The fluffy fibres are laid onto a background piece of felt and then fixed into place by stabbing with a barbed needle. It’s great fun and gives quick results.
Resources and guidance can be provided if individuals want to work on their own. Please make contact with the Tutor to discuss your requirements.
Support and feedback
To find out how you are getting on, you will have one-to-one discussions with your tutor.
If you feel you require any support for your learning, please talk to a tutor or centre staff who will arrange for you to receive support or talk to a learning support tutor. Any information given will be treated confidentially.
Additional costs and requirements
All materials and equipment will be supplied. If you like, you can bring your own photo/picture for inspiration.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
