Sashiko Japanese embroidery workshops: coasters
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for everyone who is interested in hand embroidery and would like to try Sashiko embroidery.
During this workshop you will learn how to stitch using the Sashiko method to create a coaster which you can keep.

About the tutor
Sam Brown, tutor for Learn Devon offering courses in design, crafts and employability skills. Her background is in Graphic Design, an Interior Designer and Manager in interior and fashion retail.
Sam qualifications include BA (Hons) in Design/Typography from the University of Plymouth and diplomas in Interior Design and Fashion and Textile Design.
Sam includes combining old and new technologies in her work from hand embroidery to digitally printed fabrics.
