Christmas stocking: crazy patchwork
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for everyone. Learn how to create crazy patchwork using a sewing machine and create a Christmas stocking.
You’ll learn how to stitch fabric pieces onto a base fabric to create crazy patchwork. This will then be used as the front of your Christmas stocking.
Support and feedback
To find out how you are getting on, you will complete an individual learning plan and have one-to-one discussions with your tutor.
If you feel you require any support for your learning, please talk to a tutor or centre staff who will arrange for you to receive support or talk to a learning support tutor. Any information given will be treated confidentially.
Additional costs and requirements
All equipment and some materials will be supplied. If you have any fabrics that you would like to use, please bring these along. Crazy patchwork allows you to use fabrics of different weights together – so fabrics like velvet, cotton, wool, damask and satin can be used.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
