Illustration - exploring ideas and techniques
Who is this course for?
This course will unlock the secrets of how to draw and will improve your drawing ability. We all drew before we could speak; it is part of being a human. Discover these skills in a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere.
This course is suitable for adults who are interested in learning about the broad discipline of illustration. Over the course of the day you develop a drawing which will accompany a piece of text. Complete beginners are welcome.
You will be taught a number of creative techniques that lend themselves to illustration and you will have the opportunity to work on your own piece of work.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will be advising you throughout the workshop and will suggest possible progression routes and other Learn Devon courses which may be suitable.

About the tutor

Here she combines teaching workshops and continuing with her own art practice. “I really enjoy teaching adults and watching their skills and confidence grow week by week. I find it hugely rewarding when people discover their creative side and make art part of their lives”.
