Who is this course for?

Learn some different techniques in sketching 

Course content

You will be learning all of the techniques needed to work with stained glass to produce your unique stained glass light catcher using the copper foil method. 

Support and feedback

Your tutor will give you verbal feedback on your progress during the session and tell you how you can improve your skills. 

Additional costs and requirements

It is advisable that you bring an apron/old shirt to cover your clothes. 

All resources will be provided.  You will be using associated chemicals and tools and so will need to follow Health and Safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment. 

There are no entry requirements. 

You may be eligible for a learner bursary if you can demonstrate that attending a course will improve your wellbeing. Eligibility is determined after a short interview with a member of our learning support team. You must be aged over 19 on 31st August 2018 and your household income below £15,276 to access this fund. Contact your local centre for more details


Will I have to do anything outside of the session?

You will not need to do anything in your own time. 


About the tutor

Amanda graduated from the University of Kent and worked at the Kent Institute of Art and Design, she moved to the West Country and has worked for Learn Devon, tutoring adult and community learning courses for Devon County Council since 2002.
