About the tutor
Chloe was born in North West London and has lived and worked in and around London for the past twenty years. She gained a BA (Hons) in Illustration from Brighton University and went on to complete a PGCE in Secondary Art and Design at Roehampton University, Surrey.
Chloe has worked in the Education Department at Tate Britain where she supported learning programmes for school students, teachers and adult learners. She enjoys drawing on location, visiting museums, the cinema and art galleries. Chloe left her teaching job at Camden School for Girls, after eleven years to relocate to Exeter. Here, she is combining teaching workshops and continuing with her own art practice. She exhibits her artwork in an annual exhibition as part of a group show alongside an array of contemporary leading artists.
“I really enjoy teaching adults and watching their skills and confidence grow week by week. It is hugely rewarding when people discover their creative side and make art part of their lives”.
