Design and make your own rag rug
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for everyone. No previous experience is necessary and you don’t need to be artistic either! Come along and learn how to make a rag rug. It’s surprisingly simple.
During this course you will create a rag rug which can be a ‘loopy rag rug’ or a ‘shaggy rag rug’. You can try out both methods before you decide.
Support and feedback
To find out how you are getting on, you will have one-to-one discussions with your tutor.
Additional costs and requirements
Backing material and equipment will be supplied. There are fabrics available for you to use but if you can bring some fabrics with you in colours that you like, this would be helpful. The best fabrics to use are cotton, jersey or fleece. Old t-shirts/ jersey skirts are really good to work with.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You can continue working on your rug at home between sessions if you want to.
