Watercolours: for all
Who is this course for?
Suitable for all levels, you will work at your own pace and level of ability. The tutor will offer 1:1 support as required and beginners may be given separate exercises to take them through the basics.
For beginners and those who wish:
Weeks 1-5: We will explore various ways to use the paint and associated tools through weekly exercises given by the tutor and will look at relevant painters.
Weeks 6-10: We will work more independently on our own painting or sketchbook work with 1:1 support from the tutor.
You may wish to build on your own style and interests with weekly 1:1 discussion with the tutor.
There will also be the option of working from a still life in class.
All learners: first session
We will begin with some experimental and easy warm up exercises so please bring watercolour paint, paper, palette and brushes to the first session.
