Tavistock learning centre

Our Tavistock Centre supports courses in Tavistock, Okehampton, Holsworthy and the surrounding areas in West Devon.

Parking information

Free car parking with limited spaces on site and the pay and display car park at the Wharf (5 minutes walk from the learning centre).

Accessibility

The reception office is on the right after you go through the main door at the front of the  building. For disabled access, follow the drive up past the left hand side of the building and use entrance on the level access at the back of the building. Follow the corridor through the building and the office is the last door on the left.

Directions and transport

The bus station is a short distance away with a 5 minute walk to the centre.

Catering

A communal kitchen area is available for making hot drinks (beverages are provided at a small charge).

Room hire

We have the following rooms available for hire:

• Four rooms each seating up to 15 people
• Computer suite for up to 12 people
• Hall seating up to 55 people

The costs per hour for the training rooms are £9 for non-profit-making groups or £15 for commercial groups. The costs per hour for the hall are £15 for non-profit-making groups or £25 for commercial groups.

Caretaking costs apply on all bookings starting before 9am or finishing after 9pm, and on all Saturday bookings. This is at a rate of £25 per visit. Please phone the centre for more information on room hire and  availability.
