Careers Learning Pilot – additional FREE courses available

As part of a Careers Learning Pilot scheme, Learn Devon has partnered with Petroc College in North Devon, to offer a further two higher level courses. Starting in the New Year, these courses are FREE!

This exciting ONE YEAR ONLY pilot gives adults who are in work, or returning to work, a real opportunity to raise their professional proficiency to Levels 3 and 5 without a financial burden. Both courses will start in January 2019 and will be completed within 12 months.

The courses on offer include:

Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service

This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in customer service, or those who are hoping for career progression or employment opportunities in the customer service industry. It aims to give you the knowledge required to work in a range of different environments in a customer service role. You will learn about  understanding the customer service environment, how to resolve customers’ problems and complaints, building customer retention and how to monitor customer service interactions and feedback.

CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership

This course is designed for practising middle managers and those aspiring to senior management who want to develop their core management skills such as managing resources, recruitment and information management. Course content includes elements such as conducting a management project, development planning, operational risk management, managing ideas and innovation.

 

Places are limited so please get in touch as soon as possible to express an interest. You will need to attend a meeting with one of our outreach officers. They will advise you about entry requirements, what will be required of you as well as provide information on learning support, preparation for study courses and advice and guidance on adult learning.
