Who is this course for?
Designed for learners who have been signposted by their jobcentre adviser
You will: · Create and use an account for Universal Job Match · Create your own profile, including your personal skills · Carry out job searches on the Universal Job Match website · Keep your activity history up to date, including saving jobs applied for · Save job searches in your UJM account · Learn how you can keep track of previous applications (where applicable) · Use other job search sites to search for jobs in your area of interest · Set up and use an email account · Send and receive emails · Set up email alerts within Universal Job Match · Use a word processor to create documents · Use the spelling and grammar check tools · Use the various formatting facilities on a word processor to make changes to your documents · Create a letter to a prospective employer enquiring about a job you have seen advertised · Attach your CV to an email to send to a prospective employer · Upload your CV to your UJM account · Use social media to search for jobs
